      Tom Lister answered on 2 Jul 2012:

      It could cause people damage without doing them any good, leaving them with a scar over their already disfiguring birth mark. It’s also pretty annoying if you build yourself up for having treatment and it just doesn’t do anything, which unfortunately happens a lot at the moment.
