• Question: Which do you think is more accurate; the theory of relativity or the chaos theory?

      relativity is full of very precise numbers and works very well for anything we can measure. Chaos theory is based upon large numbers of things and is really more of a statistical approximation.

      I would go for relativity on this one, although they can’t really be used for the same things.

      They’ve both been tested, but they haven’t completely explained everything. I know this because they are still called ‘theories’ – this is a scientific convention that until something is proven 100% accurate it’s called a theory. Once we know for certain that it’s accurate, it becomes a ‘law’.

      As for which one is more accurate: they don’t try to answer the same problem so you can’t really compare them.
