      These are called ‘idiopathic’ reactions, which are things that appear to happen as a result of treatment that are not expected. With regards to damage elsewhere from the laser treatment of red birth marks, I don’t think anybody has ever noticed anything, nor can I think of how it might happen.

      That doesn’t mean that it can’t happen.
