• Question: What is the weight difference between the neutron, the proton, and the electron?

      Protons and Neutrons are very similar in weight. Electrons are much lighter – around 1/10,000 the mass (from memory).

      A neutron is about the weight of a proton plus an electron, which I remember because a neutron can decay into an electron and a proton (beta decay). That’s all I can add…
