• Question: What is the most nessecery group of food that the human body requires in order to stay alive?

      Not my area of expertise – I think that you really need all the food groups: Fat, Sugars, Vitamins, Protein, Carbohydrate, Salts. Your body uses each to do something important, and with only one type of food, you’d miss vital nutrients and would get sick.

      I completely agree.

      I heard recently that a famous group of Antarctic explorers starved to death because they didn’t bring enough fatty food with them, they were just on a high protein diet (like an Atkins diet). So they starved, even though they had food left over.
