• Question: what is the most dangerous thing you have done with a lazer?:)

      One of the things that our lasers are used for is taking high-speed photographs of explosions. We did an experiment a few years ago to make a slow-motion movie of a jet engine blowing up. The engineers ran a jet engine up to full speed and then blew one of the turbine blades of with some explosive. The bang was pretty impressive!
