      There are videos of this on youtube! I think that its electrostatic force pulls it together to form a spherical droplet.

      Yup. If you put water in space (not inside a space-ship in space), then it freezes. Comets are made up of water – their tails are actually mostly water boiling off because of the heat of the sun.
