I don’t think that we’ve found any genes that make an animal able to breathe fire. That would be awesome (and scary) if we had. 🙂

4 toed or 5 toed?
I guess we could make something that looks like a dragon with big flaps of skin on its back in the shape of wings, but to have four legs plus functional wings we would have to start from something with 6 limbs – and I can’t think of anything (insects having 6 legs plus their wings)

I think that the future yields the answers to everything, including the gene that makes animals able to breathe fire. Can you imagine a fire-breathing hamster? 🙂
