• Question: If you cut through someone with a tiny lazer so small you can't see the inscision would they die?

      That’s a really interesting thought! I imagine that everything would be able to heal from such a small amount of damage. Depending on just how thick the cut was, the signals travelling along their nerves may be able to jump through the cut, so they may not even be paralysed in the short term! I am imagining the cut is wide enough to cause their blood vessels to leak though, which wouldn’t be so nice – but I reckon they would heal quite quickly!

      This is why it is better to be cut by a sharp knife than a blunt one, the cut heals more easily.

      I think if you cut completely through someone, it’d depend on where you made the cut. The pressure in the heart is quite high, so if you cut near there I think that the blood would leak out of the cut.
