Question: If an animals understand what you are saying if you talk to a dog and say something like sit and the dog does it know what you are saying? Or does he know that it Is a commandment I don't understand how people can talk to animals and they understand what they are saying?

  He knows what you are saying as much as any human. His brain just can’t cope with a large vocabulary like us.

  Some animals recognise sounds and link them to a certain behaviour, but we will ever know if they can think in the same way as humans.
