• Question: Hypothetically, could a huge battery be used to power the sun when it finally stops giving light?

      The sun kind-of is already a giant battery. The sun is powered by nuclear fusion. Hydrogen gas is being squashed together by gravity and fuses into Helium gas. When this happens, lots of energy is released as heat and light.

      When it stops giving light, it will have run out of stuff to burn, so the battery would have nothing to power.
