• Question: How many volts of electricity does it take to power an electric car ?

      I’ve no idea exactly. The batteries in electric vehicles are probably 48 or 60v, but the important thing is the amount of current that they can provide.
      The more current you can deliver, the stronger the motors can push the wheels round.

      (Sorry for cheating and copying my answer from the tractor question, but it’s the same answer)

      No idea. My car battery is 12V and turns the engine to start with (before the diesel kicks in). So I imagine 12V would be enough.
