• Question: How does Hayfever happen? And is there any way to permantly block it?

      I think that the pollen in the air irritates your nose, which causes your body to make snot to try and flush it out. Hayfever is when your body thinks that the invading pollen is much worse than it really is and over-reacts by making too much snot and making your eyes water.
      I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to premanently block it, but antihistamines are very effective at calming the body’s response down to manageable levels.

      And it really stings your eyes! I wish there was a way to get rid of hayfever. Perhaps wearing a gas-mask would work, but it’s not very practical!
