  I shall cease to have concious control over my body, but the billions of microbes and bacteria and stuff inside my wont. My body will rot and continue in the miraculous cycle that is life – although what I consider ‘me’ will not be a part of that.

  In truth there is absolutely no way of knowing, and anyone who says otherwise in favour of either argument is not respecting the unknown, or other people who believe the alternative.
  Christians believe you have a mind, body and soul. Your mind ceases, your body rots, and your soul goes to heaven. I myself don’t know and I don’t feel any desire to know but I am open minded about it.
