I’m a member of an organisation called the Institute of Physics. Their job is to promote physics, and act as a support organisation for physicists. They sent an email on behalf of the IAS team a few weeks ago looking for people to take part, so I thought that I would.
I’ve really enjoyed it so far. 🙂

I sit as chair on a ‘special interest group’ for ultrasound and non-ionising radiations (mostly things that use light) in medicine – part of the point of the group is to promote my profession and we were approached by the IoP because of this.

I am also loving the oppertunity to do this , because we have had so many cool questions and I get to learn a lot from other people’s answers (as well as looking up stuff for my own answers!)
