  In biblical times the animals knew how to behave, so the woodpeckers wouldn’t have pecked the ark. I’m sure they wouldn’t have needed to be kept in a cage…

fish servive in water and the flood was lots of water so noah wouldnt have to save them, but the story says two of EVERY animal so you’d have to make up your own mind..
