• Question: Can you chop up your brain with a laser... maybe?

      If I was to chop up my brain with a laser, I would die (or go into a coma) before I finished. If I was to chop up somebody else’s brain, I would worry that some of the tissue would be burnt off and lost.

      I suppose if you were needing to cut out a bit of brain anyway, a laser would be a reasonable tool to use – perhaps this has already been done?

      I thought that lasers were already used in surgery for things like removing cancerous tissue.
