  Great question. I’ve no idea, but I think that taste is predominantly about how something smells, so I guess that it would taste like water. Can’t imagine that it’d be very nice to ‘drink’ though – I’d prefer ice-cream.

  You can buy water based gels, which are just water and xantham gum (which is pretty tasteless). They taste like water.
