Question: Although it would be a lot of hard work... Would it be possible for us to lift up the whole of the right side of the planed, such as country's like Australia and Canada, for example the population and buildings then put them all on ur side like America and England? If after a lot of work and we manage to that would it rip the earth in two? If we managed to put more weight on one side than the other could we rip the world in half?? Is that possible???

The earth is a sphere, so there isn’t really a right and left side since it depends on where you’re looking from. We wouldn’t rip it into pieces if we all moved to one side because gravity will still be pulling us down towards the centre.

We could shift lots of stuff from one side to the other, and I guess that would change our orbit but I’m not sure it would rip the earth – like Tim said.

I don’t think so. A big enough asteroid might break it up (that might even be where the moon came from, but I could be wrong on that), but I don’t think that humans could have an effect.
