• Question: how far away are you from curing cancer??

      I don’t think I’ll ever cure cancer, although I may be involved in developing treatment for some types of skin cancer in the near future.

      I think it is more important to try and find out why we get certain cancers – so we can work on prevention rather than cure

      I don’t study cancer, so personally I’m quite a long way from curing it. I guess you meant to ask Mike?

      Anyway, the people who buy laser machines from my company are working on all sorts of things, and I’m sure that some of them are studying cancer. They might find a cure in their careers.
